      • CP Series (Standard Ceramic Plate)The Ceramic Plate (CP) Series of Thermoelectric Modules (TEMs) is considered ‘the standard’ in the thermoelectric industry. This broad product line of high-performance and highly reliable TEMs is available in numerous heat pumping capacities, geometric shapes, and input power ranges. Assembled with Bismuth Telluride semiconductor material and thermally conductive Aluminum Oxide ceramics, the CP Series is designed for higher current and large heat-pumping applications. For all CP Series modules, wire is stranded, 114 mm (4.5 in.) long and PVC insulated.
      • PowerCycling PC Series (Thermal Cycling)The PowerCycling Series is a thermoelectric module (TEM) designed for thermal cycling between multiple temperature set points and is ideal for applications in healthcare [and others] where fast temperature changes are required. The module is specially constructed to reduce the amount of stress induced on the TE elements during operation. This product line has been tested to withstand more than 500K cycles without degradation in performance. The TEMs are assembled using Bismuth Telluride semiconductor material and thermally conductive Aluminum Oxide ceramics.
      • ThermaTEC HT Series (High Temperature +200C)For cooling, heating and power generation up to 225 deg C. The ThermaTEC™ Series of thermoelectric modules (TEMs) are designed to operate under cycling conditions or high temperature applications. This product line is available in multiple configurations and is ideal for applications that require both heating and cooling mode (reverse polarity) or power generation. Assembled with proprietary solder construction, Bismuth Telluride semiconductor material and thermally conductive Aluminum Oxide ceramics, the ThermaTEC™ Series is designed for higher current and larger heat-pumping applications. For all ThermaTEC™ Series modules, wire is stranded, 152 mm (6.0 in.) long and Teflon™ insulated.       • Multistage MS Series (Low Temperatures)The Multistage (MS) Series of Thermoelectric Modules (TEMs) offers the highest temperature differential (∆T), up to 131°C. This product line is available in numerous temperature differentials, heat pumping capacities and geometric shapes. The MS Series is designed for higher current and lower heat-pumping applications. It is ideal for applications operating in room temperature environment. Custom designs are available upon request, however, MOQ applies.       • PolarTEC PT Series (High Volume, Low Cost)The PolarTEC™ Series is a porch-style thermoelectric module (TEM). The hot side ceramic has an extended edge, which allows for a strong lead attachment to accommodate the wiring of multiple TEMs into an array. This product line is available in 4, 6 and 8 Amp configurations and is ideal for high volume production. Assembled with Bismuth Telluride semiconductor material and thermally conductive Aluminum Oxide ceramics, the PolarTEC™ Series is designed for higher current and larger heat-pumping applications.
      • Annular Series (Centre Hole)The SH Series is an annular-style thermoelectric module (TEM). The hot and cold side ceramics have a circular hole in the center to accommodate light protrusion for optics, mechanical fastening or temperature probe The RH Series is an annular thermoelectric module (TEM) that is round in shape. The hot and cold side ceramics have a circular hole in the center to accommodate light protrusion for optics, mechanical fastening or temperature probe.

      • UltraTEC UT Series (High Heat Flux Density)The UltraTECTM Series is a high heat pumping density thermoelectric module (TEM). The module is assembled with a large number of semiconductor couples to achieve a higher heat pumping capacity than standard single stage TEMs. This product line is available in multiple configurations and is ideal for applications that require higher cooling capacities with limited surface area. Assembled with Bismuth Telluride semiconductor material and thermally conductive Aluminum Oxide ceramics, the UltraTECTM Series is designed for higher current and larger heat-pumping applications.
      • OptoTEC OT Series (Miniature)The OptoTEC™ Series is a miniature thermoelectric module (TEM). This product series is primarily used in applications to stabilize the temperature of sensitive optical components in telecom and photonics industries. This product line is available in multiple configurations and surface finishing options. Assembled with Bismuth Telluride semiconductor material and thermally conductive Aluminum Oxide ceramics, the OptoTEC™ Series is designed for lower current and lower heat-pumping applications. Custom designs are available to accommodate metallization, pretinning, ceramic patterns and solder posts, however MOQ applies. Internal solder construction is denoted in prefix of part description: 138°C (OT), 232°C (ET) and 271°C (HOT). For all OptoTEC™ Series modules, wire is solid, 57 mm (2.25 in.) long and un-insulated. The Tlam OptoTEC Series is a miniature thermoelectric module (TEM) that uses a thermally conductive dielectric with copper exteriors as substrates. This product line has improved heat spreading, high mechanical integrity and can provide cost savings over standard ceramic based TEMs with similar form factors in high volume. This product series has been created for applications to stabilize the temperature of sensitive optical components in telecom, photonics, medical and consumer markets.       • ZT Series (High Performance)The ZT Series is a high performance thermoelectric module (TEM). The module is assembled with premium Bismuth Telluride semiconductor material that achieves a higher temperature differential than standard single stage TEMs. This product line is available in multiple configurations and is ideal for applications that require to reach cold temperatures. Assembled with top grade Bismuth Telluride semiconductor material and thermally conductive Aluminum Oxide ceramics, the ZT Series is designed for higher current and larger heat-pumping applications. For all ZT Series modules, wire is stranded, 200 mm (8.0 in.) and PVC insulated.

        • eTEG SeriesThe eTEG Series are thermoelectric power generators that harvest waste heat and convert it in to usable output DC power. Due to their micro scale size and higher output power density, these devices are especially suitable for use in wireless sensors, LED lighting and battery charging applications. There are three standard eTEG modules available: PG09,14,F0,0102,GG 33 mW PG24,48,F2,0202,GG 90 mW PG37,72,F2,0203,GG 130 mW “The eTEG Series are miniature energy harvesting devices that can be embedded into many types of applications requiring low output power.” said Andrew Dereka, Laird Technologies Product Manager. “Because of their sold state reliability and no maintenance requirements, they are suitable to replace energy storage devices or provide power in remote places where access to a power line does not exist. This reliability means maintenance technicians do not have to replace batteries on remotely installed wireless sensors that monitor temperature, flow rate or composition of gases and liquids.” The Thin Film Energy Harvesters are assembled with thin film semiconductor material, thermally conductive aluminum nitride ceramics and gold plated wire bondable pads.         • eTEC SeriesThe eTEC Series is a thin film thermoelectric module (TEM) with high heat flux density. Due to its size input power requirements and power generation capacity this device is suited for use in applications to stabilize the temperature of sensitive optical components in telecom and photonics industries. The eTEC™ Series of TEMs enable high powered optoelectronics to maintain peak performance by stabilizing the temperature of the device during operation. The modules are assembled using thin film technology that enables the TEMs to have ten times the heat pumping density per unit area than conventional bulk thermoelectric technology. The ceramic substrates are gold metallized to allow the product to be embedded into densely packed optoelectronics. “As next generation packaging shrinks in size, conventional bulk technology becomes more of a design constraint due to its large package size,” said Andrew Dereka, Laird Technologies Product Manager. “Thin film technology provides our customers with more flexibility to optimize package design and keep optics stable in temperature fluctuating environments.” The thin film eTEC TEMs have heat pumping densities ranging from 75 to 90 W/cm2 at an ambient temperature of 25°C.
